Peugeot 206 indicators do not cancel?

The indicators on my peugeot 206 do not cancel themself, i have to do it manualy (which is very annoying) Any ideas? Its a 2002 model.

I had the same problem on my wifes car and I just removed the steering cowling and sprayed the indicator switch mechanism with WD40.

It works fine now. Always worth a try....
