My boyfriend just had the same prob, he had it on the diagnostic checks and everything that gives the error codes and it costs good money, The codes showed something different to what the real problem was.

The problem was one of the fuel hose pipes to the fuel tank that had a hole in it and was quite worn so air was getting in, making the car cut out, banks were a no no it cut out 4 times on sutton bank of all places

I am not going to be of much help here but can symapthise with your predicament. My Daewoo Tacuma (2004 version) started to shudder and the engine management light came flashing on. This persisted and eventually stayed on. AA ran a diagnostic test and said it was the hp leads. So I replaced all of them and had the computer reset to get rid of the fault light. That lasted for a week and then the same problem started again. AA came out and said it could be the spark plugs and replaced them. Problem persisted. So they cleaned the egr valve. Same problem. Next thing it could be is the ignition coil. have been quoted £180 through garage and £380 through Arnold Clark. Reading internet postings many people have had same thing, replaced the coils and still the problem remains. Not sure what to do next. Would welcome any help. Fault ref is P0300 on diagnostics.
