Only running on two cylinders. ?

Any suggestions? My three cylinder Daewoo is only running on two cylinders. Spark plugs o.k. All sparking when not in engine. Put them back in and still only firing on two cylinders. Matiz Daewoo 800 cc.

99% probability that it is one of the injectors blocked. They are extremely small on this engine and actually quite prone to blockage, common fault. I just bought a complete fuel rail with injectors for £30 inc postage off E-Bay. It's a bit tight to fit the rail, but with the right socket set it can be done in less than an hour. Keep the remaining 2 good injectors in case another one goes. I am now using redex injector cleaner regularly to try to prevent further blockages.

The spark plug (HT) leads are prone to failure on the Matiz. Have a close look at all 3 leads for signs of arcing, (black lines), usually at the spark plug end. When the leads fail in this way it is not unusual for there to be a spark at the plug when it is removed from the engine because: 1. The spark can jump the gap more easily when not under pressure conditions and 2. In placing the plug so as to be able to see it sparking, you may have moved the HT lead away from the place to which it is arcing in use. Get yourself 3 new, (or second hand) HT leads and see if that helps. Good luck !

i'd be checking fuel injectors then checking compressions in cylinders.
