how can i adjust the handbrake on my mondeo it is very slack and wont hold at all on hills.

Theres a small grill above the handbrake, it is a small plastic thing. If you take that of i believe you use a screw driver to push down on a toothed wheel situated near the pivot point of the handbrake, this will tighten the hand brake cable.
