how do i change the inner steering rack arm the bit at the steering rack i can take the end off the wheel side

On most cars they simply screw out,loosen the locknut on the end of the rod and unscrew the rod,loosen the nut only a little and if you are fitting a new rod you will have to have the locknut the same distance on the new rod as the old rod,screwing it in or out is how your tracking is set,you will have to have the tracking done afterwards or you will scrub the tyre off.
