how can i fix my bosch 24CDi combination boiler?

when i run the hot water, its starts making a banging noise and the pressure gauge jumps around? it has overheated as well but this has only happened once?

how about heating you did not say, so it could be pump not working, if pump working than could be scale in the boiler
