Suffolk colt - blades not turning?

Hi I was using my mower the other day and the blades have stopped turing. the engine is running fine but the cogs don't seem to be engaging when i release the levers.. i took off the cover and i can see the spring and wires moving but the cogs don't turn to get the blades moving, any ideas???

This machine has a clutch with shoes and springs, unbolt the engine and move sideways, this will expose the clutch on the end of the crank, check the condition of the shoes. Is it possible that you have disengaged the clutch? there is a dome over the clutch will move in or out to engage, disengage the clutch.
