How can I remove rear wiper arm?

I've taken the nut of the rear windscreen wiper arm, so as to remove it, but it doesn't want to move and I don't want to put too much pressure on. The model is a 1.8 Vauxhall Vetra 2005

When you are pulling on the wiper tap the spindle with a small hammer.works for me I fit them at the astra plant Ellesmere port.

put your wiper arm facing out from window and waggle it up and down till it frees
