Ford escort van 55 model, when I switch the lights on there is a loud tone?

Every time I switch my lights on there is a loud tone even with the engine running no difference with side, main or full beam

i had same problem, turn lights on and then turn interior light switch to each setting and see if it stops. worked for me.
