I come out the other morning to find my passenger window completely down at first I thought the car had been broke into but with no broken glass around and the close button doing nothing I started to investigate. I could see the window in the door but it would not respond to the controls. With no time to spare as i was goin on hoilday i just left the car on the drive and prayed it would'nt rain. I Got my brother to take off the door panel which proved a task on its own and jam the window shut. I have since spoke to renault at st helens who hav quoted me £218.00 plus Vat for the replacement part needless to say i don't want to shell out this money when it seems to be a common problem. Has anybody on here mangered to get renault to pay for the repairs on what seems to be faulty parts. Am beginning to loose faith in renault !! 6 months ago the bolts holding the engine mount bracket snapped which then dropped the engine and then braking the drive shaft bringing the car to a complete stop, alltho the car had warranty they said it was'nt a mechanical moving part so it was'nt covered that cost me £500 to put right. Am just glad it never happened on the motorway which i had just got off as i might not of been here to tell the tale. never buy a renault again

go on ebay and buy a replacement window regulator (pref second hand lot cheaper ) or scrapyard grease up with copperslip before fitting to your car because probs with cables running dry and snapping on them (then sell car haha)
