Adjusting the parking break?

How do I adjust the parking break on a Nissan Micra 1.0 automatic 1996 ?

The problem is that the break don't work correct on the right side. Nothing wrong with the break mechanical inside the drum.

You count the number of clicks it takes to go from fully off to fully on - should be about 8. The adjustment is by a nut on a screw under the hand-brake lever. You need probably a 10 mm socket with extension bar and socket wrench to get at it.
