over heating and leaking water?

my 2001 ford galaxy over heats and when i gets up to temperature leaks water from some were under the header tank

What engine is it ?????.
Check the water pump impellor is ok as they have been known to break off the shaft.faulty thermostat?,faulty expansion bottle cap?.head gaskets are also a known issue!.

i have just been told it might be the head cracked is this possible

sounds like head gasket gone and pressure vale in header tank letting water out
