i have recently had a new casing fitted to my D500 however now my phine will not find any reception i am on orange and when speking to them they have told me it will be a network error. this has been going on for 4 days how big is the network error. also my sim works in another phone.

my phone can obviously pick up reception cos it accepts my wifes orange sim

any ideas???????

If I understand your uestion correctly: Your SIM works in your Wife's phone and your phone works with your wife's SIM?

Try cleaning the SIM contacts on the card and phone with a pencil erase then wipe off any residue. Clen the battery contacts the same way. If that doens't work, it sounds like some kind of pairing error which only range can fix.

BTW. Who fitted the new case? If it was a thrid party then take it back to them for fixing because they induced the error in the first place and are responsible under the Supply of Goods & Services Act.

All I can say is swap SIM cards with your wife instead of having your original, and your wife can have your original SIM card. (How can it be a network error if it works in another phone?)
Have you tried the antenna of the phone could be faulty or broken. Get it checked.
