Mountfield mower SP470?

Hello folks

I've got a Mountfield SP470 mower but the self-propel bit doesn't seem to work. It's a heavy mower without.
Any ideas anyone?

Hi Suzanne, I would suggest that control cable has either snapped or come of the lever on the "clutch"
It's quite fiddley to put back on but can be put on without to much dismantling.
