Help me! Rm 125 wont start?

my rm125 back wheel locked up,bike died.The wheel freed up immediately but bike wouldnt start again. any ideas on what this could be as im no mechanic.

cheers lads, stripped top head down at weekend, and it was the ring, it is still on the piston, although its raised more on one side than the other. cylinder has not been scraped but there is a 2mm line of metal on top of wall, im thinkin its from when wheel locked.im having someone look at it,hopefully they can sort it.. thanks again.

i use them too they are pretty good but they dont replate for the bike that dont have oversize pistons this aint good.nckel plting sucks they should all have steel liners then i can rebore them :)i have a nice sps minibar that rebores loveley even though its out of the ark.

i concur its fooked lol, only explanation for this is semi seizure leading to loss of compression needs to be stripped and sorted, if it needs new sleeve, i use a company in liverpool called grampions phone 0151931 5009 they are very good and will give you matching piston rings gaskets etc, mostly mitaka brand

did you put 2 stroke oil in the petrol? just as bb says you have had a partial seizure there the rings will be pinched in the piston and lost there springyness and the compression will be too low to start it up.springyness is a very technical word :)

sorry its sounds like a seizure of some sort. How is it to kick start? Strip top end and have a peek?
