auto gear box problum vw sharan?

i bought vw sharan 2007 millage is 130000 ,when engin is cold it take jerk in third gear from secound to third gear i have to rave very high rpm then it goes to straight 4 gear and engin managment light goes on but engin is warm it work proper every gear work properly

Its probably not an ATF level fault as you would have problems with all gears and Reverse. As the fault light has come on there should be a code stored. It may be a simple fix. For specialist www. fedauto.co.uk

get gearbox oil level checked if not there are pistons operated electrically in gear box 1 of which may be maifunctioning
