How can i fix my ford galaxy 2.8 v6 automatic?

Engine starts fine but gear lever stuck in park. No warning lights on dash. How can i solve this problem?

Check brake light bulbs, change if not working or if they have gone black. If OK check brake switch. This switch also works the interlock on gear lever. Check if lever moves without engine running if so, possible computer fault.
