hi just rebuilt my peugeot speedfight engien put it back in the frame and i thought everything was ok it started up strait away but when i revd it up there was no power to turn back weel checked vairiator and not kicking out but its not stuck and rollers havent fell out but i was thinking could it be the oil gear that goes under oil pump as its thiker than the over one that i had in before. plenty of petrol and good spark getting to engein and can,t be cdi because got a bypass on can eney one help please

mmmm so there is no drive to the rer wheel or is it just not revving out enough to turn it miggie?i would suggest taking the cover bolts out and just leaving two in each end then start the engine and then crefully take the last two out while its running then you can see whats going on there,dont run it wih the clutch bell off with the clutch shoes still on or it willl open the springs up and ruin them.but you could also try to turn the clutch bell with you hand without the engine running and see if its free or stiff.

you need to double check the clutch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have done hundreds literally, where the manufature weld on the plates have seperated, you will NOT get any drive whatsoever if this happens!
