Same prob. Does whole base come off as has many parts attached. Tried to access by laying on its front. Can see part by looking in side panels but couldn't work out how to get access without dismantling. Help please

lay dishwasher on its back and remove the plastic base (if fitted).look for round silver tube with 2 wires to it.this is the element.around 29ohms across terminals is good
