making a scaping or like sping scaping on something? sound seam to be sewing ok

If the scraping sound is in the needle area when you are sewing you may without realizing it be pulling fabric to the back instead of letting the machine do the work, or the needle may be scraping alongside the raceway, or you may just need a small dab of oil on the raceway
