My Baxi Solo 3 pf 60 keeps overheating?

I have replaced the thermostat sensor but to no avail. My plumber reckons the PCB may be at fault. British Gas suggest it may need a power flush. Can anyone help please?

double check you have a permanent live to the boiler and that your bypass is opened enough as this boiler operates the pump frm its pcb
