My chair just went up when no one was sitting in it, it is extremely hard to get it to go back to the lowest position, when you get it to the lowest position and get up off of the chair, it goes back to the highest position again. Please tell me what to do to this chair.

Sounds like the handle control flap tha plunges the cylinder shaft is bent down or the cylinder shaft is bent causing it to stick. call the manufactor and request a new cylinder and instrutions to install. They usely don't charge for the cylinders.
