GL200 irrigation timer low battery?

i have put new batteries in this timer and it comes up with low battery can anyone suggest what to do other than try new batteries as I have done this 3 times now. The phone line given Warranty Tel:

I got a refund on mine today, I tried 3 different sets of batteries, got it working for half an hour and packed in again. A lot of people have the same problem.

You have to turn the dials to the desired setting. Take out the batteries, pop them in again. Then set the time and it'll work fine.

There's nothing wrong with the batteries, its the Irrigation timer there is something wrong with!!

Think you've got the helpline number wrong - there's 2 zeros at the front ie 00800 3499 6753

I had this problem as well, but just kept removing and reinstalling batteries until low battery indication disappeared.
Unit works fine now.
