switch on hob blew breaker. switched mains back on and it still don,t work?

Hi my hob is a whirlpool generation 2000+ and the switch got wet. It blew the mains breaker switch and popped. When I turned the mains power back on the switch wasn't working. How can I fix it! Will it be the switch or would their be another fuse somewhere?

If the hob has a 13amp plug fitted. Check the fuse in the plug by changing it for a new one or with one from an appliance that works.
