Stop the whine,2005 Peugeot 206 1.4 8 v?

How can I stop the whine from the fanbelt/alternator belt area.I have replaced the power steering pump but the whine is still there.Could the aircon be needing gas in it as the pump is on the belt also?

most likely to be the belt tensioner and roller. remove belt and spin them by hand.
