my ldv convoy 2.5 diesel wont start in the morning off its own battery, only when you spray cold start in the air filter it starts the battery is new. When the engine then starts it is fine all day it seems to be just that first start up in the morning i have tryed it with a fully charged battery with no joy. My van is the type with the trasit engine built with no heater plugs direct somthing i was told could anybody help me with some possible causes to try please thankyou.

Did have 1 or 2 of these motors where the main lead from the battery to starter was faulty.
