I have an Sharp SF - 2022 copier, recently one end of the copies are blackened out about 1.5". Emptied out the used toner container, nothing, cleaned the corona unit, nothing,
thinking maybe the drum may have been obstructed by something.
I'm fishing for possible solutions

Yes it could be the drum unit. Look at the drum and see if it looks different on that side. Could also be something in the optics.
