How can i fix my Bosch classixx 1400 washine machine?

I am unable to remove the filter from my machine. The pump cover unscrews but the filter appears to be stuck. Any suggestions?

Joy, we have removed our filter several times. It may just be that the seal is "VERY" dry and it needs some leverage to free it the first time. I would then add a little washing up liquid around the seal when you refit it.
