how do i change line bobbin on my mccullock mt210?

my line has run out and i wish to change the line holder but do not know how to remove it

Most of the 210 machines had a very basic bump feed head, grab the base and give a good tug, the base should come away with the spool, it is only held with two internal spring clips.
