Focus sat for several months. I had to put 2 tires for inspection, and the Focus won't start. It tried to start once, after I pushed the fuel reset button, but it only ran the battery down. I charged it and she spins over, but it seems like it doesn't fire like normal. A mechanic told me to by-pass the switch on the fuel reset, and that didn't work either. Just made the paperclip hot. This car ran excellent before I drove another car for a long time last winter. (Explorer has 4WD). It still doesn't have 100K miles yet. The Explorer has 246K miles on it!

sounds like your fuel pump gone try hitting top of it (top of fuel tank under back seat)couple taps with wooden mallet press reset button then try start no more paper clips wonder you didnt short the wiring for pump
