rover 200 series 216sli - central locking system?

HELP -my P REG ROVER;s central locking wont work on any of the doors, I with remote or key, I can hear the relay in the dash clicking but nothing happens, fuses Ok from what i can see. ANY SUGESTIONS would help as I am running out of idea......thanks
