overheating on ford transit?

transit overheats cut out then will start and run for 1 mile and repeats fault

You haven`t said what engine your`e on about here but had a couple of transits overheating where the auxilliary fan belt which is driven off end of the camshaft breaks which drives the water pump causing overheating and cutting out,worth a look?
