2002 citroen saxo vts no first or second gear?

My 2002 citroen saxo vts will not move in first or second gear. I can drive in third gear

have someone put it into 1st & 2nd look at g/box selector and see if there is movement at gear selectorif it is going into gear it is a g/box fault,maybe cheaper sourcing replacement rather than repairing
