Hi, I have an Escort 75 van, electric everything, and the drivers seat has two "handles" on it, one in each front corner. One controls the back and forward movement, and I want to know whether the other one should allow you to adjust the rake or height of the seat base as it does nothing, but it does seem to pull on a cable. Does anyone know about this

Think it lifts front of seat up,try and lift your weight off seat while pulling lever,if not maybe pivot pins under seat are seized
