my renault scenic keeps losing power then cutting out when i am driving but will start again straight away. it drives really well then after i've been driving a while it starts playing up. if i sit for 30 minutes or so i can drive quite far again before it loses power again. i've had a diagnostic check and no faults came up. any ideas what could be wrong? there is no pattern to when it cuts out ie when i'm slowing down, it just randomly cuts out

hi there i have a similar problem with my 2004 renault scenic. I ahve had the AA out to us 3 times when it refused to start after cutting out and they said the diagnostic showed nothing!!! I find it worse when the engine gets warm like after iddling or on a warm day. Evetually a garage seemed to think it was the tdc sensor or the ignition coils. It is going in for repair next week. Hope this helps
