how to remove: steering rack C5 2.2 hdi?

I have a major/ total oil loss on my Citroen C5 steering rack, is it a drop from underneath job or remove from engine compartment? can anyone help here!.

you have to lower subframe right down to remove rack. not a strightforward job.
