slight Diesel fumes vw transporter year 2000?

After driving for a bit we can smell slight Diesel fumes it only 10yrs old.!

if its diesel u can smell check fuel leak off pipes on injectors for leaks

check the seals on the back doors. exhaust fumes can be drawn through the back doors if the seals don't seal properly,or if the doors have holes in them!
