I have a 30hp 2 stroke Yamaha 2006. Yesterday it would not go into reverse. Today it will go into reverse very easily, but will not go straight into forward. When the shift lever is moved forward, there is no response. After about 10 seconds, you can hear the gears slowly start to mesh, then it drops into gear by itself.
