white knight sensordry tumble drier - drum doesn't turn?

Drum turns OK and heat comes on if I give the drum a flick to get it started. Drum isn't sticking and moves reasonably freely if turned by hand. Motor looks OK, no sign of overheating. Is the problem with the big capacitor on the motor?

I have had three of these dryers and the previous two have had this fault occour , changing the start capacitor cures the fault

That big capacitor attached to the motor is the start capacitor and if they fail will not start the motor rotating unless you give it a helping hand so I would say it is faulty and needs replacing as you thought.
