well no it should have a side light bulb in the headlight which comes on when the lights are on and a low beam that comes on when its on low and a hight beam thats on when its on high,the headlight bulb is a unit that has two filaments in it so if one blows ie the low filament then you need a new bulb,they are a couple of quid.
