Ive lost the installation cd that came with my lexmark x2550. Im not sure what i need to download to connect to the new computer.

I recommend not to plug the Lexmark X2550 to your computer yet. You can download the printer driver from the Lexmark website. Just go to this link: http://bit.ly/bo8GfV. Click on the Microsoft or Macintosh dropdown to choose the version of the operating system of your computer. Then download and install the software. Follow the instructions. Hope this helps.

go to the lexmarks web site, www.lexmark.com go to downloads" download drivers for that model you have the x 2550. ... when you get to their web site just type in their search box , drivers for x2250, and download to your pc, by clicking on (run) and they should be saved to your pc , and your printer will work again , oh the download is free...
