I have a Macalister cross cut radial compound mitre saw, cuts through a 12in board 2in thick(almost)and I am a joiner and cut half laps all the time, don't know all about electrics, but your safety breaker is to low in amps, your breaker will work on an amp rating i.e.your kettle, iron, vacuum cleaner will work on a normal 13amp fuse(high power)your phone charger only needs a small fuse(3amp maybe)your breaker may be faulty or is only designed for low amp accessories. The saw will have a 13amp fuse, your breaker will cut out a(say 5)or whatever it says on the part.Fuse ratings are important.
