Simpson Maxi Dry 505SR How frustrating.... Two pce Pulley system which slides on to a Plastic Pivot and then onto a steel rod next to the motor ...If your Dryer is a forward Reverse model there are Two Wheels on your Pulley which the Belt goes inbetween and onto the Motor .... Once Pulley is fitted The Next Trick is to Place the Belt over the drum and to reassemble into the Case of the Dryer! while feeding the belt inbetween the Pulleys onto the motor ?..After trying many times...I got fed up...So I decieded to cut a hole in the side of the Case of the Dryer !!! I put the unit back together Reached in side..... with a screw driver and flash light you can pull the Belt inbetween the Pulleys and onto the Motor.....Works Great ! I could find no sites showing Simpsons but you will get a rough idea by looking at http://repair2000.com/wpoolbelt.htm and http://www.repairclinic.com/0079.asp also "This Old Appliance" and "Appliance Repair". These helped me work out how it went.
