No hot water, although heating working?

No hot water from Glow-Warm 38CXI, although heating working OK. Problem started few weeks ago, hot water was fluctuating look warm then cold, then getting a bit warmer. Simultaneously the heating remained on continuously even when switched off at controls. Engineer came out and replaced diverter valve (black plastic device with three spade connector). Worked ok for a week now hot water stone cold, heating working fine. So problem, no hot water!

Engineer replaced hot water thermostat today with no success, still no hot water. Engineer contacted Glow-Warm Tech advice; after some fault finding, it’s now thought It could be a defective flow censor!

Tim, Your right that’s what he has changed, I thought he was going to order diverter kit. A second engineer has been out and ordered hot water thermostat; I am not convinced!

sounds like your engineer changed just the power-head , you could ask him to referb the diverter valve
