if i am running lean, there is a h and l under the two adjustment holes. what tool do i need and what do the two different adjusters do?

The 36 should have two normal slot head screws, the L screw will adjust the fuel mixture from idle too half throttle ( screw out too richen ) the H screw will adjust the fuel mixture from half throttle too full engine revs, if you adjust this screw you should have the maximum no load revs checked with a tachometer, max rpm should not exceed 12500
