Has this motor had plenty oil changes?Think these are bad for camshafts wearing and you get a top end knock,you get a kit of camshaft,followers and gaskets from motor factors,these can be done without stripping the head down but you will have to source the special tools to help you do this,that is if that is the fault,good luck.
