problem sounds like its the heating element, fridge will need removing, aluminium cover and insulation removing from around heating elements. sheathing around wires will denote which is 240v and will say what wattage it is, remove unit and replace with a same for same.....make sure power is off before attempting removal.... before total refit switch on fridge and check that element gets hot, refit lagging , refit fridge. gas should be checked by a competent person if gas has been interrupted.
