Will it be safe to take the power off at the fuse box and reposition the control panel a few inches away and then reset the system? This unit has worked fine since 1994.
How did you get on with this? I have an Optima XM control panel (over 14 years old) and would like to move the panel because of building works. Do you have any tips or issues for the moving of the unit?

yes u shud have no problem at all as these panels have an (nvm) which will store your code.. it will only activate if there is a scb in external bell box which u can just put up wit for 5mins while u move it..
