Power Performance Brush Cutter?

Does anyone know where I can obtain the long wire drive rod that's situated in the top section of the tubing, which drives the cutting head for the following
Performance Power Tools - Brush Cutter PWR25CCBCA.

I have only used this cutter for strimming a few times and the rod end is chewed up. It is a flexible rod made up of separate wires into a box section and is completely useless for the job in hand, the wires chew up and come adrift. Performance Power Tools are made to a price and you get what you pay for, not quality items.

Voted with my feet and I now go else where for my stuff.
