my washing machine recently banged and stopped working. it is displaying error code e08 does anyone have any idea what this is? hoover want over £100 just to come and look at it even though its only 18 months old

Same m/c and I also only got 18 months out of this poorly made hoover m/c!! I have cheaked the brushes, motor all where fine and went on to replaced the circuit board module as it had blow at the small transformer!! this pcb board is one of the worst made, flux all over board was never cleaned and contamination all over solder joints! worst class 1 electronics board Ive ever seen!! never buy a hoover anything shocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and surprise surprise it stop working after 8 washes for the price off it its just not worth the buy
